How many decisions are included in the database?
The dataset includes
- 1156 criminal judgments with 1882 defendants:
- 1617 defendants in 1034 judgments of the courts of first instance, and
- 265 defendants in 122 appeal judgments.
- 650 administrative decisions with 667 defendants:
- 640 defendants in 624 decisions of the Brussels Institute of Environmental Management (BIM), and
- 27 defendants in 26 Environmental College decisions.
- 372 settlements offered by the public prosecutor
- 294 discretionary dismissals by the public prosecutor
- 34 administrative dismissals of the BIM
